If you’re familiar with the role of a birth doula — someone who offers steady, informed, and compassionate support during the transition into life — an end-of-life doula serves a similar purpose at life’s closing chapter.

As a trained end-of-life doula through International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA), I provide non-medical, holistic support to individuals and families navigating the dying process. My role is to help create comfort, clarity, and dignity — emotionally, spiritually, and practically.

Services may include:

• Presence and companionship

• Support with legacy or life review work

• Vigil planning

• Gentle guidance for family members

• Creating a peaceful environment

• Spiritual reflection, if desired

My own journey into this work began with fear and uncertainty around death. Through study, reflection, and spiritual practice, that fear transformed into a deeper understanding — one that has brought me profound comfort. It is this grounded, compassionate presence that I now offer to others.
